Every practice is designed with purpose. Players leave the field sharper, stronger, and ready to compete with faith, effort, and heart.
Faith. Family. Fierce Competition.
nadine lugo- Founder/coach
Coach Nadine is the Founder and Head Coach of Colorado Iron Faith Softball, where her passion for competitive fastpitch, leadership development, and faith comes together to create an environment where athletes can grow both on and off the field.
With 4-years of coaching experience, Coach Nadine is committed to developing fundamentally sound athletes while helping young women build confidence, resilience, accountability, and strong character. She believes that success isn’t measured solely by wins and losses, but by the kind of person each player becomes on the journey, because there’s so much more to learn than just softball.
Her vision for Colorado Iron Faith is to create more than just a softball team. It is to build a family that competes with excellence, encourages one another, and honors God in everything they do. Every practice and tournament is an opportunity to develop future leaders who will make a positive impact long after their playing days are over. “I want every player who leaves our program to be more confident, more resilient, more accountable, and stronger in her faith than when she arrived.”
Favorite Verse: Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Fun Facts: I haven’t stopped playing softball since my T-ball days! I love competition! My favorite defensive positions are 1st and 3rd.
Aaron wolfsberger- Founder/Coach
Coach Aaron brings a lifetime of playing experience and a passion for developing athletes with Colorado Iron Faith Softball. After playing baseball his entire life, including at the collegiate level, he has spent the past 14 years coaching softball and helping athletes reach their full potential both on and off the field. With a deep understanding of the game and what it takes to compete at a high level, Coach Aaron is committed to teaching strong fundamentals, building confidence, and preparing players for success beyond youth softball. Over the past two years alone, five athletes he has coached have gone on to play at the collegiate level. He believes that success comes through hard work, discipline, and a willingness to continually learn and grow. As he likes to remind his players, “Yes, I know softball is not baseball... softball is harder!”
Coach Aaron is passionate about helping athletes become the best versions of themselves. He strives to create an environment where players are challenged, encouraged, and equipped with the skills, mindset, and work ethic needed to succeed in softball and in life. His goal is for every athlete to leave the program with greater confidence, a stronger love for the game, and the belief that they can accomplish anything they are willing to work for.
Favorite Verse: 2 Chronicles 15:7 (ESV) ”But you, take courage! Do not let your hands be weak for your work shall be rewarded.”
Fun Facts: Getting to the level with the team where we can implement “the game within the game” is exciting to me!
The greatest reward of coaching comes when I run into former players at tournaments or high school games, and they still greet me with a smile and call me “Coach.”
